Physical fitness is what we talk a lot about today. It’s a health condition when heart, blood vessels, lungs, all organs, and muscles function properly and efficiently.

Professionals divide physical fitness into following groups: aerobic fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition.

What comes to your mind first when you think about physical fitness? Strong handsome/beautiful man/woman, sports competitions, energetic and active people? If all these and much more come to your mind it’s absolutely natural. Physical fitness is always associated with strength and health.

Physical fitness is a problematic aspect of our life. Why problematic? Because our life is full of comfort and inventories that allow us make less physical efforts in our everyday activities. Though, it doesn’t refer to people whose profession requires from them to in a good physical form.

Thus physical fitness is of high importance for professional soldiers, police officers, fire fighters, and for teachers whose discipline is connected with physical activity. For people of the first three professions physical fitness is vital. Their lives and lives of other people depend on how they discharge their obligations. That is why fitness tests are conducted on a regular basis in the army, police and fire brigades.
