Being physically active is necessary and important all the year round. In winter it is also necessary.
We all know that regular fitness trainings give us energy (in spite of the fact that they require energy loss during the process). The pint is that they make our health stronger. And people with strong health are commonly full of energy.
So, energy is what we extremely need in winter because we have so few options where to get it from. Besides cold weather and lack of sun do their job well: thousands of people start feeling not well, having bad mood and no wish to do something.
Winter is not a reason to stop being physically active. On the contrary: it opens new additional opportunities to make your fitness trainings more interesting and different from summer ones.
There exists a wrong belief that in winter people should limit their fitness activity because our body is a sort of sleeping. Indeed some processes in our body go in some other way. But it does not mean that we are totally different in winter. This delusion could lead you to the loss of your good fitness form.
