Commonly you will never see brain fitness training among components of physical fitness. Brain fitness stands aside. There are distinguish five main components of physical fitness. They are cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and body composition.

It would be illogical to talk about general health and fitness separating brain and physical fitness. These two aspects should be treated together and in complex.

Brain fitness training programs are not that difficult and complicated as it may seem at first. Moreover they can be easily and successfully combined with your daily physical activity.

There is also such sub-component of physical fitness as neuro-muscular co-ordination. This component of physical fitness deals with the communication between your brain, nervous system and your skeletal muscles. This component is an evident of the fact that all our physical activity is under control of our brain. This neuro-muscular co-ordination is required when learning a new skill or improving a current skill. That is why brain training programs are as important as regular exercising.

If you think that you are too busy to have time for both physical and brain training programs you can turn your creativity on and combine these two programs in one: you can make them at one and the same time. It could be fun!
